With more than 40 years of experience, Kindred is America’s leader in providing expert home health and hospice care. We offer multiple home care services. In this area, we offer home health, hospice care, and personal home care assistance.
By uniting under one name, we've expanded the reach of our nationwide Kindred at Home hospice and home health services, ensuring we can provide the quality of care that our patients deserve in the place they want it the most – the comfort of home.
Our clinicians bring state-of-the-art care to you or a loved one at home. We assess needs and goals and the home environment, and we work with you to achieve the results you want. We also coordinate with your doctor to deliver a clear picture of progress and respond to any sudden changes in health.

Focus on fall management to help prevent fallsIndividualized balance programs can help prevent falls and promote safety in the home.
If you or your loved one are covered under Medicare A benefits, our services may be available at no cost to you. Most insurance companies provide home health benefits. To find out more, just call us. We’ll be glad to discuss your situation with you.
Hospice care is specially designed to comfort patients and family members when patients have reached a point in their lives where the priority of care turns to ensuring the patient is at ease, rather than curing the illness.Under the direction of a physician, our interdisciplinary team of clinicians offers a special kind of caring that encompasses the medical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of treatment.
Medicare Part A benefits and most insurance plans offer coverage for most or all of the costs of hospice care, including medical equipment, prescriptions and other supplies related to the hospice diagnosis. We also will work with you to help your loved ones get the care they need.
Kindred at Home is also a proud member of We Honor Veterans, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Veterans Administration, which is designed to empower hospice professionals to meet the unique needs of dying veterans. Learn more at www.wehonorveterans.org.
Because we offer home health and hospice care together, our clinicians are trained to care for you or your loved one in the correct setting. If your loved one is not ready for hospice, he or she may benefit from home health services. If you're not completely sure what kind of care is needed, we have the expertise to guide you toward the best answer.
Kindred's professionally trained caregivers provide personal care, housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, escort services, and other personal services, creating a customized care plan to meet a patient's specific needs. With our help, seniors and physically or developmentally disabled people can maintain superior levels of independence, health, and psychological wellness in the comfort of their own home.

Our Safe Strides program is designed to help patients avoid falls and strengthen balance skills. Traditional balance programs treat every patient the same way, emphasizing gait training and strengthening exercises, but we build our program around you. Our home care clinicians create a plan of care to address each patient’s specific needs.
Our orthopedic specialty program allows patients to receive innovative rehabilitative care at home. Whether for post-operative care, joint replacement or another orthopedic condition, this unique program promotes independence and the ability to function while helping to reduce the risk of unplanned hospital visits. Administered by specially-trained orthopedic therapists and nurses, this hands-on program combines treatment with patient education.
