Kindred at Home has given me the opportunity to be the "Florence Nightingale" in nursing that I've always wanted to be. People often say that it takes a special person to be a hospice nurse and I do not believe that is completely true. Nursing is about compassion, caring, empathy, trust, and one-on-one attentive care, and Kindred at Home has given me the opportunity to provide this level of care for each and every patient and family I have came in contact with. I am thankful for each moment, smile, laughter, and tear that we've shared over the last three years. And furthermore, Kindred at Home doesn't just treat their patients and their families this way, they also treat their employees this way. We are family."– Melinda B.
"Why I love working for Kindred at Home: When I had my mother on service she had the best care from the Kindred at Home team and my coworkers treated her with love, encouragement and comfort. When I needed them at the end of her time, I was not alone. As we walk our path of life we meet people everyday. Some are sent our way for a reason. Some days I feel like the people I work with are my angels. I love my job and the people I work with. Most importantly, I love my patients. Kindred at Home is the best, most compassionate company. I couldn't ask for a better place to work. The ones who understand us can share our joy."– Angie S.
"I love working with the people who make Kindred at Home a great place to work. They really care about the patients, their team, and leaders. I respect their commitment and dedication to excellence every day."– Maria C.
"Working for Kindred at Home the last five years has been a fantastic experience! They really care about the patients. This is a large company, but to me it feels like extended family. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. I have also had many educational opportunities that have helped me grow as an RN to better serve our clients and fellow coworkers."– Rebecca G.
"Working with Kindred at Home has been an extremely positive experience. I've found the management decisions to be intelligent and the working atmosphere to be open and professional. I enjoy interacting with both the internal corporate staff and my team members in the field, who I find to be sharp, accomplished, and cooperative. My direct supervisor has been a huge support to my success and I truly feel respected by one and all."– Donald B.
"Kindred at Home is the best home health agency. I have worked in home care for over 20 years as a case manager, a liaison, supervisor, and branch manager. You can tell I have seen a few different agencies. Kindred at Home employees practice the mission statement in all areas. I feel supported as I am having fun taking care of people."– Margie F.
"Having worked for Kindred at Home for years, then leaving for other endeavors for two years, coming back to Kindred at Home was like coming back home. "I have been with this company for six years and am very proud to be part of a growing company. It is nice to have so many resources available to both the employees and the patients. Knowing the patient’s needs and concerns are always the number one consideration for such a big company is reassuring. Our name says exactly what it means."– Jane O.
"I have been with Kindred at Home for eight years now after working in long-term care for almost 20 years. My heart was set on finding a company that put the individuals that they cared for first. Also my desire was to work for a company that would make wise decisions on behalf of their employees. Kindred at Home has exceeded in all of these areas. Even with the growth that we are blessed to have, Kindred at Home still maintains that warm dependable reputation in all of the communities that they serve."– Beth P.
