    American HomeCare offers an extensive list of services that assist you or your loved one to maintain independence at home. The services available will be tailored to address your individual needs.

    Authorized Services may include:

    • Assistance with bathing and dressing
    • Companionship
    • Medication reminders
    • Housekeeping
    • Meal preparation
    • Nurse visits
    • Shopping and errands
    • Veteran and surviving spouse program
    • Healthy children and youth (HCY) programs

    Services must be authorized under a plan of care and may be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

    • Self-Pay Services
    • Some Commercial Insurance

    About Us

    American HomeCare began providing services in January 1993 in Kennent, Missouri. It was founded with the belief that a company dedicated to helping families take care of their loved ones must provide a family-oriented working environment for its associates and caregivers. With deep roots in Missouri, American HomeCare covers every county in the state of Missouri.

    Recently, American HomeCare became part of the Kindred Healthcare family of companies. Kindred Healthcare provides a wide array of services across the post-acute continuum of care.
